Morson is collaborating with a Global Technology client who employs over 5,000 people worldwide. Our client's revenue has increased from £40ml to £400ml in recent years, with aspirations to increase revenue to £1bl by 2025/26. The position will report to the Head of Business Transformation, who is in charge of leading major business change throughout the group of firms. He is a former CEO / Business Leader, and this post will provide him with substantial exposure to working with Regional CEOs / Boards as well as traveling abroad to assist the Director of Business Transformation with presentations and meetings. Our client has a strong acquisition ethos, and this person will be involved / support with the data & reporting surrounding this M&A / business shift. This position would be ideal for a recent graduate with 3-5 years of business experience. Our client is looking for applicants who have good data, MI, and presentation abilities. You will understand business and be willing to travel internationally (up to 5 weeks per year). Role Prerequisites Create data-driven analyses for the most important business transformation concerns. Create digestible and prepared learning content to facilitate scale and speedier deployment, as well as to decrease the need to teach from scratch. Contribute material and analyses for use in organized learning sessions on a regular basis. Recognize top-quartile business thinking in operations, finance, pricing, and commercial governance procedures. Important Tasks Create short, powerful data analysis and learning material to support prioritized business transformation programs, such as switching costs to support pricing decision making. Timely and effective data analysis from a variety of sources, including financial and ad-hoc process data (sales funnels), and utilization of this to drive critical areas Internal and external analysis/research that yields consistent observations and offers confirmatory or contradictory viewpoints Data, stories, lessons learned, and process guides should be combined to maximize business process/behavior change. Track, report, and anticipate challenges in fulfilling business transformation targets within each program. Create organized processes/templates that enable scale and efficiency in each critical process - the first steps toward achieving a maintenance pricing increase. Create financial, commercial, and operational networks inside the Portfolio that may be used to support programs as needed. Competencies Analytical and data interrogation/discovery abilities across a wide range of data sets Interest in company strategy, trends, and operational effectiveness Strong business acumen and the ability to comprehend commercial processes utilizing a combination of quantitative and qualitative data Collaborative approach to attaining goals, and ability to do so rapidly with new or temporary teams Persistence and resilience in meeting critical deadlines Financial literacy and fundamental accounting knowledge Presentation and messaging that are concise and effective in distilling essential points/focus areas Capable of developing relationships/trust and demonstrating empathy with owners/founders/managers in a variety of situations. Capable of planning and organizing, as well as being self-motivated to achieve immediate targets and broader program objectives To maximize continuous progress, do proactive reporting on targets/skills and seek regular constructive feedback on outputs from all sources. This work can be based from any UK location (home based) and will pay between £35,000 and £50,000 per year plus benefits.
