Senior Data Analyst Job Description Gerrard White is now looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join an ambitious and expanding insurance company. This position can be done entirely remotely, with only a few office meetings in South West London. This Data Analyst post will be part of the Analytics team and will be critical in delivering a comprehensive view of the customer lifecycle to support efficient business choices. The Analytics Team is currently supporting business strategy, with a particular focus on customer experience, by leveraging various data sources from across the organization and repurposing them in novel ways to generate insight into customer behavior and identify opportunities to improve their experience. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to working in a fast-paced, agile team setting and be able to meet tight and shifting deadlines and priorities. You will also be a motivated, curious, and analytical thinker who appreciates using data to drive positive change. Important responsibilities: Manage projects from start to finish with the assistance of the Analytics Manager to fulfill the business's objectives across both customer and claims data. Utilize analysis to provide actionable knowledge and communicate in a way that will affect key stakeholders across the organization. Be a driven and inquisitive analyst who extracts business value from data. Required qualifications and experience include: Proven track record of generating useful analysis. 2-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst playing a vital role in influencing performance. Previous experience driving recommendations using statistical methodologies. Knowledge of a variety of programming and statistical tools, such as R or Python. SQL and Microsoft Excel system familiarity is required, as well as competence with data visualization tools like as Power Bi/Tableau. Understanding of statistical tests and analyses, as well as the capacity to actively implement them. Ability to clearly and authoritatively explain difficult analysis to non-technical peers. Excellent data wrangling experience. It is necessary to have a high level of numerical precision and attention to detail. Stakeholder management that is effective. Problem solver who is both creative and pragmatic. Self-motivated and self-assured, with a goal-oriented approach and great delivery abilities. Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
